AutoZone Search API
Our AutoZone Search API allows you to scrape parts from AutoZone search results, at any AutoZone store and for any vehicle.
The API endpoint is https://serpapi.com/search?engine=autozone

API parameters
Vehicle
vehicle_year
Optional
Parameter defines the year of the vehicle to find parts for (e.g., 2015).
Parameter requires vehicle_make and vehicle_model parameters to also be set.
vehicle_make
Optional
Parameter defines the make of the vehicle, as named on AutoZone (e.g., Toyota).
Parameter requires vehicle_year and vehicle_model parameters to also be set.
vehicle_model
Optional
Parameter defines the model of the vehicle, as named on AutoZone (e.g., Camry).
Parameter requires vehicle_year and vehicle_make parameters to also be set.
vehicle_engine
Optional
Parameter defines the engine of the vehicle, as named on AutoZone (e.g., 4 Cylinders 2.5L GAS).
Parameter requires vehicle_year, vehicle_make, and vehicle_model parameters to also be set.
vehicle_submodel
Optional
Parameter defines the submodel of the vehicle, as named on AutoZone (e.g., LE). Without it, parts that only fit some submodels have a fitment: needs_more_info.
Parameter requires vehicle_year, vehicle_make, and vehicle_model parameters to also be set.
vehicle_type
Optional
Parameter defines the type of the vehicle. It defaults to car_truck when vehicle_year, vehicle_make, and vehicle_model are set.
Available options:car_truck - Car & Truckmotorcycle - Motorcyclerecreational - Recreational
Parameter requires vehicle_year, vehicle_make, and vehicle_model parameters to also be set.
Advanced filters
sort
Optional
Parameter defines the sorting of the results. It defaults to featured.
Available options:featured - Featuredprice_low - Price (low to high)price_high - Price (high to low)recently_added - Recently Addedrating_high - Customer Ratingbest_seller - Best Sellers
facet
Optional
Parameter defines the filters to apply. It's a comma-separated list of filter values (e.g., sub_brand_name_display_s:Duralast,avg_rating_range_ss:2~4 TO *~4 and up for Duralast with 4 stars and up).
Filter values are available in filters[].options[].value of the results when include_filters is set to true.
SerpApi parameters
no_cache
Optional
Parameter will force SerpApi to fetch the AutoZone results even if a cached version is already present. A cache is served only if the query and all parameters are exactly the same. Cache expires after 1h. Cached searches are free, and are not counted towards your searches per month. It can be set to false (default) to allow results from the cache, or true to disallow results from the cache. no_cache and async parameters should not be used together.
async
Optional
Parameter defines the way you want to submit your search to SerpApi. It can be set to false (default) to open an HTTP connection and keep it open until you got your search results, or true to just submit your search to SerpApi and retrieve them later. In this case, you'll need to use our Searches Archive API to retrieve your results. async and no_cache parameters should not be used together. async should not be used on accounts with Ludicrous Speed enabled.
zero_trace
Optional
Enterprise only. Parameter enables ZeroTrace mode. It can be set to false (default) or true. Enable this mode to skip storing search parameters, search files, and search metadata on our servers. This may make debugging more difficult.
output
Optional
Parameter defines the format of the result. It can be set to json (default) to get a structured JSON of the results, html to get the raw HTML retrieved, or md to get a Markdown-formatted version optimized for LLMs and AI agents.
json_restrictor
Optional
Parameter defines the fields you want to include in the output, reducing payload size for faster response. See the JSON Restrictor documentation for more details.
API results
JSON results
JSON output includes structured data for Organic Results and Filters.
A search status is accessible through search_metadata.status.
It flows this way: Processing -> Success || Error.
If a search has failed, error will contain an error message.
search_metadata.id is the search ID inside SerpApi.
HTML results
This API does not have a full HTML response, only text.
search_metadata.prettify_html_file contains a link to the prettified version of the result.
It is displayed in the playground.
Markdown results
Markdown output is optimized for LLMs and AI agents. It provides a curated view of the JSON results
in a token-efficient format using tables, markdown links, and YAML frontmatter.
To access, use the output=md parameter, the /search.md endpoint, or request header Accept: text/markdown.

Example with q: oil filter and store_id: 4254
With a store, in_store_pickup shows whether each product can be picked up there today.

Example with q: radiator and store_id: 4254
Queries AutoZone answers with a category or brand page (e.g., radiator or duralast) return the products of this page, and part numbers it answers with a product page (e.g., 24F-DLG) return this product. Queries without products (e.g., tools) return an error.
